Lamar Joseph Odom born November 6, 1979 is an American former professional basketball player. As a member of the Los Anglos Lakers in the National Basketball Association or formally known as the NBA, there he won NBA champoinships in 2009 and 2010 and was named the six man of the year in 2011.

Lamar married Khloé Kardashian in 2009, and he was on her familys reality television show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. He and Khloé also had their own reality tv series called Khloé & Lamar. After getting married on September 27, 2009. Following their marriage, Khloé removed her middle name to include her married name, becoming Khloé Kardashian Odom. On December 13, 2013 Khloé filed for divorce from Odom and for legal restoration of her last name. Divorce papers were signed by both parties in July 2015, however, the divorce had yet to receive final approval from a judge.

Lamar Odom is in the hospital because he was found unconscious in a Nevada a club. A few days later on October 13, he was in coma; Khloé was said to have postponed their divorce request which was granted by a Los Angeles County court. The Kardashians reality tv show is coming back on the air soon, and now they are looking to capitalize on this, but this upcoming season is going to be long over due, becasue Lamar Odom underwent two emergency surgeries. One dealing with chest issues, heart damage, and the other was with his respitory infection, after the two surgeries he was left in fragile conditon and state of mind.
