When Mykayla Ellis was a kid, she would always read any book she had in her room. To other people, a book was words on paper, but to her, it was a chance to escape reality. Aside from reading, she always wanted to write something but never found her hook. Now she has. In her first year on the staff, Mykayla is upfront the next upcoming writer for Wingspan. She covers the next school events, games, and everything else in between these Norristown hallways. When Mykayla isn’t reading or writing, she spends her spare time with her family or goes out for a run.
