When a year is over usually most people want to forget it and never open that chapter again but when such an animated year comes around we have to relive it just one more time. Here are just a few of the times that made 2017 memorable.

January 1st : After a late night of partying into the new year many Californians wake up to a minor change in the “Hollywood” sign. Someone overnight change the famous sign to say “Hollyweed” instead of its original “Hollywood” spelling.

February 11th : North Korea prompts international condemnation by test firing a ballistic missile across the Sea of Japan.

March 18th : 50’s singer Chuck Berry dies at age 90.

April 26th : Browns pick Myles Garret as No.1 draft pick.

May 6th : Chȧvez vs Álvarez pay per view fight. The winner by unanimous decision was Canelo Álvarez.

June 13th : Twins of Beyconcé and Jay-Z, Rumi & Sir Carter are born.

July 1st : Canada celebrates its 150th year as a country.

Aug 10th : Trump declares opioid addiction a national emergency.

September 8th : Stephen King’s “IT” is released as a movie.

October 14th : Producer Harvey Weinstein is expelled by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences after historical revelations of sexual harassment and rape.

November 15th : A Leonardo da Vinci painting, “Salvator Mudi” sells for US$450 million at Christie’s in New York, a new record price for any work of art.

December 17th : “Star Wars : The Last Jedi” makes $450 Million worldwide in its opening weekend.
