Fox is in the midst of the first season of Lucifer which already seems to have gathered a following. Lucifer is a show about how the Devil, Lucifer Morningstar, decides to take a vacation from hell and live among the humans.  Even for those who do not believe in the devil can relate to the familiar persona of the main character.  The show relies on many of the common attributes often depicted in characterizations of the fallen angel.  What is unfamiliar to most, is the plot of the show in which Lucifer actually aides law enforcement as he helps to solve murders alongside LAPD.  Tom Ellis plays Morningstar and is a perfect fit with his dark hair and brown (sometimes red) eyes.  He’s handsome and can throw a wicked, yet inviting smirk embodying the lure of the devil himself.

The wit and sarcasm practiced by Lucifer Morningstar ads to the humor of the show. As the promos have show, the show is as fun and flashy. It will have audiences laughing and wanting more. It definitely brings a whole new meaning to the phrase, “The devil walks among us.” The creators of this show are hoping that Lucifer  continues to build a following among humans in the most positive way (of course).
