Human Trafficking Survivor Rescued After 4 Years .

Human Trafficking Survivor Karla Jacinto has been involved in human trafficking since she was 13 years old, Karla was forced to work as a prostitute she was taken to Guadalajara, one of Mexico’s largest cities. When she was 12 she was targeted by a trafficker who lured her away using kind words and a fast car Karla told CNN that the guy was a very affectionate and quite a gentlemen, they then exchanged phone number when he called her a week later, Karla said she got excited. He asked her to go on a trip to Puebla with him and he dazzled her by showing up driving a bright red Firebird Trans Am. When Karla first started there were kids in there that were 10 years old and older. Karla describes her life in human trafficking she said “It was the beginning of four years of hell, she describes how she was attacked by her trafficker after a man named john left inappropriate marks on her, she said her trafficker started beating her with chains, he punched her, kicked, pulled her hair, spit in her face and also burned her with an iron. Karla gave birth at the age of 15 to a baby girl a baby fathered by the pimp who would use her daughter, if she didn’t fulfill his every wish he would either harm or kill the baby he took the baby away from her a month after the baby was born she was not allowed to see her again until the little girl was more than a year old. Karla now 23, tells CNN that by her own estimate, 43,200 is the number of times she was raped, 30 men a day seven days a week for four years. Karla was finally rescued in 2008 during an anti-trafficking operation in Mexico City, she was working at a hotel police showed up and kicked everybody out and shut the whole hotel down, she told CNN this was her lucky day.
