This year Norristown students are given the perfect opportunity to bring smiles to the faces of children in need. Operation Christmas Child is an organization that donates shoe boxes filled with presents to children in who are less privileged, and students are encouraged to make their own shoe box’s. Packing a shoe box includes:

  1. Getting an empty shoe box (wrapping it is optional)
  2. Picking your shoe box recipient’s expected gender and age range (2-4, 5-9, 10-14)
  3. Filling the box with gifts (toys, school supplies, non-liquid hygiene items, accessories, personal notes)
  4. Donating $7 to the organization (optional)

Operation Christmas Child gives students the ability to easily give back to children who aren’t as privileged as most. Get into the Christmas spirit by sharing the magic and joy with others and creating a shoe box! You can bring your donations to Ms. Walker- Holmes or Ms. Peirce.
