NAHS Track Team at 2018 Indoor States

More stories from Jayana Webb

This past weekend the NAHS track team had a few of our fellow classmates compete at the 2018 indoor states at Penn State University. This year they did not have a big team attend, but that did not stop them from having a successful weekend.

Jonae Cook being the only girl to compete as a Norristown Eagle did a great job breaking the old school record with the time of 7.63 seconds that was set in 2015 by Jayana Webb 7.64 seconds in the 60m.

On the boys side, Ramir Wiggins competed in the 60m hurdles he had just missed finales, but that did not stop him from setting a personal best with the time of 8.39 seconds!

The boys 4×200 didnt do so well most likely because they were missing Austin Montgomery due to an injury. The Eagles look to compete at the New balance Nationals in New york coming up soon so keep a look out!
