Norristown Cheerleaders have have recently been doing a lot in the community as the school year goes on. They have earned their bid to Florida, which is what they recently have been fundraising for. For example, they are doing a clothes drive which gives back and also helps them earn money at the same time, on the 22nd, 26th, 27th are their pick up dates. To help you can drop clothing off in the gym and it will be donated, the cheerleaders get money for the amount weighed. They are also hosting a “Cheer Clinic” where girls who are over 5 can come and learn how to cheer and see how our team operates for $25, the team hopes the will come back when they get to highschool and join the team.  The girls have baked good laying out at every home game to sell, you can pick from brownies, cookies, cupcakes, etc. and they sell 50/50 raffle tickets there as well for one dollar each. There will be a spaghetti night as well where the cheerleaders where people will be able to have fun with the cheerleaders at dinner on the 20th.  One more thing the girls are doing is all throughout the rest of January they will be selling $5 lottery tickets where you can win up to $100! Come to anyone of these events support our hard-working team this year so they can go to Florida by February.
