Prom is around the corner and as most girls know, prom dresses are very expensive. Luckily the First Baptist Church of Norristown on 445 Burnside Avenue has our back. Every year they have a free prom dress giveaway where any student may walk away with three items at no cost at all. Not only do they have beautiful gently used prom dresses, but they also have shoes and accessories of a variety of sizes. Since this giveaway is such a success every year, they will need help with the donations.

If you have a prom dress that you know you most likely won’t wear again, donate it. So instead of letting it collect dust in your closet you should donate it, along with any dress shoes and accessories that you have to this amazing giveaway. With everyone’s help with the donations, every girl who may not have been able to afford a prom dress will be able to go to prom and look fabulous.

You can bring all of your donations to the nurse’s office at Norristown Area High School to be held until the day of the giveaway. You can bring donations to the high school up until March 4^th. The actual giveaway will be held on Friday, March 1, 2016 from 6-9 PM and Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 1-4 PM. All students and the church are extremely appreciative of any and all donations to make this year’s giveaway another success. Hope to see you there!
