Norristown Area High School’s varsity volleyball team faced Abington High School on September 16^th. The Eagles record was 2-1. Seniors Taijah James (#3) and Lucy Cusamano (#6) had an outstanding performance on the court. The match went to all 5 sets (or rounds). Each round was a close call and had the crowd watching with anticipation. Abington just barely defeated the Lady Eagles in the final round. Another noteworthy player, Ceida Branca (#12, grade 11) said that, “Even though we didn’t win, we now know that we have the talent and ability to compete.” Lady Eagles have a chance to redeem themselves on their home court, Tuesday the 22nd, against Chichester.
