1. Linvilla Apple Orchard

Hayrides, face painting, apple picking, pumpkin carving and so much more can be found at Linvilla Apple Orchard! A great option for passing the time during fall.

2. Six Flags Fright Fest

After dusk, the creepy creatures come out! Enjoy rides, snacks, and scaretastic fun at Six Flags annual Fright Fest.

3. PennHurst Haunted Asylum

4. Movie Tavern

Enjoy the new released movies in luxury at the movie tavern, where you can eat a nice meal while watching the latest movies in theaters.

5. Oaks Center Ice

Spend your Friday and Saturday nights ice skating with friends, enjoy snacks, and listening to awesome music for just $10 at Oaks Center Ice!

6. Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride

So scary it was seen on the Travel Channel and was named one the best haunted houses in the area! Definitely go check this attraction out this summer.

7. Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom Halloween Haunt

Prepare to be scared! Dorney’s Halloween haunt is complete with a night of food, fun, and plenty of scares. Terrifying characters walk the grounds with you as you ride rides and go through haunted attractions. You also have the option to partake in a “fright feast” – all you can eat buffet! Available on weekends through out October, including Saturday the 31ST!

8. Freddy Hill Farms

Enjoy mini-golf, hayrides, pig races, pumpkin picking, and much more! Freddy Hill offers something fun for all ages. On weekends in October they offer a Fall Fest that hosts loads of activities for families and friends. You can take a hayride to the pumpkin patch, challenge a friend to a mini-golf tournament, get lost in the corn maze, and even take a pony ride- who doesn’t love ponies!? You can also enjoy their farm zoo, with many animals to see. Don’t forget to indulge in their farm fresh, homemade ice-cream and other dairy delights!

9. Aronold’s Family Fun Center

There isn’t much you can’t do at Arnold’s. It is an indoor facility so save up for a rainy day, and take yourself! Enjoy go-carts, laser tag, black light mini-golf, a rock wall, bounce room, and yummy food. There is also duck-pin bowling and a fun-filled arcade.

10. New Hope, Pennsylvania

New Hope is a quaint town about an hour away from Norristown. Although it is a cute town filled with restaurants, boutiques, antique stores and more, it is considered one of the most haunted places in America. From October 17th to the 31st New Hope is all about Halloween. Enjoy shows at the playhouse, costume contests, dinner at the Logan Inn and much more. By night, New Hope can be quite scary. But by day, it is a beautiful place to spend an Autumn day.
